ISL-4: Marcelinho scores late for FC Pune City in vital win at NorthEast United FC!

In their quest for a first-ever semifinal, FC Pune City scored a vital 1-0 win against NorthEast United FC at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium in Guwahati on Wednesday evening.

The first half mainly belonged to NorthEast United FC but as often this season the Highlanders were wasteful with their chances and the half ended goalless.

After the break the chances were more evenly distributed but only in the 86th minute the guests from FC Pune City scored the winner. At the time against the run of play a pass from substitute Marko Stankovic found Marcelinho, whose shot went in past keeper T.P. Rehenesh and that was enough for the win and the three points.
