ISL champions Bengaluru FC to start BFC Soccer Schools center in Ahmedabad!

Indian Super League champions Bengaluru FC has announced that its newest BFC Soccer Schools center will soon be functional at the Adani Shantigram Football Ground, in Shantigram, Ahmedabad.

With 14 functional centres in Bengaluru and their recent tie-up with Sporthood taking their reach to over 35 centres in the city over the coming weeks, Adani Shantigram will be the first venue outside Karnataka to have a BFC Soccer School.

“We’re really proud to announce our first center outside Karnataka, at the Adani Shantigram Football Ground. During the Summer Camp earlier this year we had classes in Mangalore, and the move to Gujarat highlights another step towards harnessing the talent from outside Karnataka. We hope to be able to identify children with potential and add them to our academy in the coming years through BFC Soccer Schools,” said Naushad Moosa, the club’s Head of Youth Development.

“We are delighted that Bengaluru FC team has chosen Adani Shantigram for its maiden Soccer Schools facility outside Karnataka. Exposure to state-of-the-art training and mentorship could be a defining development for aspiring footballers in Ahmedabad and neighbouring areas,” said Mr. Ranjeev Mahindru, Chief Executive Officer – Gujarat Region, Adani Township & Real Estate Company Pvt Ltd.

Beginning on June 4, 2019 classes will be held on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays between 6 and 7 pm for children between five and sixteen years of age.

The program will be conducted by licensed youth coaches of the club, who will monitor the progress of the players while also following the technical curriculum provided by the club’s Head of Youth Development.
