iSportconnect, the world’s largest global private network of sport business executives, has announced details of its upcoming Christmas Directors’ Club in London.
The invitation-only event is to take place at leading law firm, Dentons, on December 6, 2018.
Confirmed speakers for the Christmas Directors’ Club include Steve Elworthy MBE, Managing Director of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.
Steve, a former South African cricket international, won a gold medal in the 1998 Commonwealth Games and played in the 1999 Cricket World Cup in England.
Since his retirement from playing, Steve has performed an active role in a number of global cricket events including the inaugural World T20 in South Africa in 2007. Last summer, he was the Tournament Director of the ICC Champions Trophy and the ICC Women’s World Cup, helping put women’s cricket well and truly on the global stage.
Steve’s services to cricket resulted in him receiving an MBE this year. He is leading the Organising Committee, as the ICC Cricket World Cup will come to England and Wales in 2019 for the first time in 20 years.
The Christmas Directors’ Club in London will operate under Chatham House Rule meaning all discussions will be confidential.
