iSportconnect Directors’ Club on July 12 in London to feature Javier Tebas & Micky Lawler!

The next iSportconnect Directors’ Club will take place in London on July 12, 2017 at the office of private banking firm Coutts.

Director’s Clubs are exclusive, invitation-only events for top-level sports executives.

The event will feature a panel of industry thought leaders engaging with all attendees in an open discussion in an informal atmosphere. To encourage the free exchange of ideas, they strictly follow Chatham House Rule, so the opinions expressed remain confidential.

Javier Tebas, president of LaLiga, will join delegates at Coutts London to share his personal experiences from LaLiga in a relaxed and private environment.

Tebas, a practising lawyer since 1987, served in various offices in LaLiga before ascending to president in 2013 following an uncontested election.

His tenure so far has seen Spain’s top football competition reach record revenues, and according to UEFA’s coefficient ranking has been the top league in Europe for the past five years. There are no signs of slowing, however, as expanding commercial growth is on the horizon.

That will certainly be an important area that the regular media contributor Tebas will focus on at the event in July.

The other speaker of the day will be WTA president Micky Lawler, who has been in her position since October 2014 as the head of professional women’s tennis.

The industry leaders will partake in a series of one-on-one interviews before taking questions from the audience.

The Chatham House Rule will be strictly adhered to, as with all iSportconnect events, encouraging a free exchange of ideas.

There will also be ample time for delegates to network with their fellow executives within a relaxed atmosphere at Coutts’ central London offices.
