iSportLearn launches with the goal of changing the Sports Industry for the better!

iSportConnect launches an all-new global education platform, iSportLearn, with the aim of changing the sports industry for the better by giving young people from diverse backgrounds an affordable opportunity to gain valuable practical knowledge from industry leaders.

More than 50 leaders from the NBA, Formula 1, LaLiga, FIFA, Facebook and other global sports organisations and major brands provide practical instruction as ‘Playmakers’ in the initial set of eight courses covering the most relevant industry sectors.

The ground-breaking education initiative includes the creation of the iSportLearn Foundation, which will help fund scholarships and internships in the business of sport.

iSportLearn courses are available at the low price of $99-$139 per eight-hour course, starting $12.50 per module. The intention is to make many courses available for free in less economically advantaged parts of the world.

The first iSportLearn courses cover Sponsorship, Sport Event Management, Broadcasting and Digital, The Future of Sport and Technology, Data and Analytics, Esports and Governance. There is also an Introduction to Sport course.

Each course includes interactive questions for all modules and a wealth of supporting material for download.

“We are tremendously excited about iSportLearn, which we believe is going to a real game-changer in an industry of such global importance and influence,” said iSportLearn CEO Sandy Case. “We have worked very hard to create courses delivering real practical knowledge and we are making them affordable so that we can encourage the widest range of people to have access to our fantastic line-up of industry Playmakers helping to build a more diverse and well prepared industry.”

“The launch of this platform that will enable more young people from diverse backgrounds around the world to advance in the sports industry is a very proud moment,” said iSportLearn Founder and Chairman Sree Varma. “I want to thank our many friends who have supported our goal of creating a better industry and generously shared their time and knowledge to help educate the leaders of the future in our initial set of courses.”
