German kit maker JAKO are now partner of Russian Premjer League side Rubin Kazan, twice champions in 2008 and 2009 as well as cup winners from the year 2012, with both sides having signed a three year contract until the end of the 2020/21 season.
Hans Werkle, JAKO Export Department Manager, said, “We have been a Rubin equipment partner in the 2016/17 season and we are happy to work with one of the most renowned Russian football clubs again. The team is our number one in Russia and also has international appeal.”
Rubin Kazan’s general manager Rustem Saymanov visited the head office JAKO Teamcenter with a small delegation. He said, “We look forward to working with JAKO again. At least for the next three years we did not want to give up the great quality of the products, the fast delivery and the partnership-based cooperation. This partnership will greatly benefit our players and fans.”
True to the company motto WE ARE TEAM, JAKO will be equipping Rubin Kazan’s team with individual play, training and leisure clothing in close cooperation with their local distributor, Progress St. Petersburg. In addition, JAKO will be a partner of Rubin Kazan’s Youth under the Equipment Contract. All teams from the professionals in the Premjer league to the talents of the football school “Rubin Kazan Academy” are uniformly equipped in the style of their club.
JAKO are already official ball partner of the Second Russian League, in which JAKO equip several clubs.
