Kerala Blasters extend contract of winger Seityasen Singh!

Indian Super League franchise Kerala Blasters have extended the contract of winger Seityasen Singh for one year ahead of the 2020/21 season.

28 year old Manipur-born Seityasen Singh is a versatile winger who came through the local system before joining Shillong-based side Royal Wahingdoh FC, where Seityasen made his senior debut.

Seityasen Singh had three spells with NorthEast United FC besides also playing for Salgaocar FC, DSK Shivajians FC and Delhi Dynamos before joining the Kerala Blasters last season.

Seityasen Singh made 10 appearances for the Blasters scoring one goal and making one assist.

Seityasen Singh said, “I’m really happy to extend my stay at KBFC. The club gave me an opportunity to prove myself last season.I’m confident of my abilities and am sure of contributing to the success of the team. I have always lovedand admired the passion and craze the fans of Kerala Blasters have towards the club and the sport and I always feel at home while playing in front of them.”

Kerala Blasters assistant coach Ishfaq Ahmed added, “Seityasen is one of the finest wingers in the ISL who is good with both feet and can operate out wide on the left and right side of the midfield. Last season he worked extremely hard on his fitness as he came back from a long-term injury.His display of an impressiveand creative football helped the team last season. I’m glad he is staying with us, I wish him all the very bestfor the upcoming season. He is definitely going to make the team stronger!”
