Indian Super League franchise Kerala Blasters FC have signed Ivory Coast defender Didier Boris Kadio for the third edition of the ISL.
26 year old Man-born Didier Boris Kadio is a centre-back and started his football career with
ASEC Mimosas in the Ivorian capital Abidjan, where he also top his first steps in professional football.
In 2012 Kadio was transferred to Armenian side FC Shirak, but in early 2014 he left Armenia for Kazakhstan, signing a loan deal with FC Zhetysu. He returned at the end of 2014 to FC Shirak, but in February 2015 left them to join Jaro FF in Finland. After a season in northern Europe, he returned to FC Zhetysu in early 2016 and played for them until the summer.
Now Didier Boris Kadio has joined Kerala Blasters and comes to India, where he is intended to be a backup for likely regular defenders Cedric Hengbart (France) and marquee Aaron Hughes (Northern Ireland) besides India international Sandesh Jhingan.
