Kerala Blasters sign midfielder Ritwik Das!

Indian Super League franchise Kerala Blasters FC have announced the signing of midfielder Ritwik Das from I-League side Real Kashmir FC.

23 year old Asansol-born Ritwik Kumar Das is a product of the Mohun Bagan Academy, who made his senior debut in the Calcutta Football League with Calcutta Customs before joining Kalighat Milan Sangha.

In 2017, Real Kashmir FC signed Ritwik Das after a successful trial in Kolkata. Ritwik was part of the Real Kashmir FC team win won the Second Division League and promotion to the I-League, where he was one of the key players over the last two seasons before now making the jump to the ISL.

On signing for Kerala Blasters, Ritwik Das said, “I feel blessed to be signing for one of the biggest football clubs in India and to debut in the ISL. This is an important turning point in my professional career. KBFC has a very passionate fan base and I can’t wait to play in front of them. I’m eagerly looking forward to working with the coach and hope to give my best to the team and bring joy to the fans.”
