Indian Super League franchise Kerala Blasters FC have announced the signing of Spanish attacking midfielders Sergio Cidoncha from ISl rivals Jamshedpur FC.
28-year-old Sergio Cidoncha Fernández was born on the outskirts of the Spanish capital Madrid. After playing locally for Collado Villalba, Sergio joined the youth set-up of Atlético Madrid.
Sergio after playing for the Atletico Academy gradually stepped up the ladder to play for Atlético Madrid’s B team and later with teams like Real Zaragoza and Albacete, who play in LaLiga 2 (Segunda Division).
Last season Sergio Cidoncha joined Jamshedpur FC making 12 appearances for the Steelmen in which he scored three goals and also had three assists.
