Kerala Blasters sign young goalkeeper Lovepreet Singh!

Indian Super League franchise Kerala Blasters have signed young and talented goalkeeper Lovepreet Singh on a long-term deal.

The 20 year old Punjab-born Lovepreet Singh only last year was scouted by the All India Football Federation from Youth FC of Rurka Kalan despite being too old for the India age group teams, but then he went for a trial with the Indian Arrows, where he impressed head coach Floyd Pinto and was signed ahead of the I-League.

Lovepreet becomes the sixth Indian Arrows player after Dheeraj Singh, Jeakson Singh, Rahul KP, Nongdamba Naorem and Mohammad Rakip to join the Kerala Blasters.

Also he is the fifth goalkeeper at Kerala Blasters as they have Dheeraj Singh and Lalthuammawia Ralte on contract while Bilal Khan has been signed from Real Kashmir FC, while Naveen Kumar is also on contract with the club but is likely to return to FC Goa, whom he had played in the second half of ISL-5 on loan.
