The draw of the Joint 2022 FIFA World Cup & 2023 AFC Asian Cup – Round 2 qualifiers is being held on at the AFC House in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday, July 17.
The 40 member associations will be drawn into eight groups of five teams and compete in a double round-robin format, with matches to be held from September 5, 2019 to June 9, 2020.
