RKS Raków Czestochowa, a club playing in the Polish top division – Ekstraklasa, and Macron, an European leader company in the production of teamwear, have announced the start of a new mutual partnership.
This represents a pleasant return to the past, as Rakow has been the first ever Polish Club to sign a technical partnership agreement with the Italian brand few year ago. Currently, Macron works with two other Clubs from the Ekstraklasa: Lech Poznan and Wisla Kraków.
Raków Czestochowa, Club from a city known for the famous Pauline monastery, has a long history coming from the past, as it has been founded in 1921. During the 2018/19 season under a young and capable management, the Club has brilliantly gained the promotion back the top division, where it has been missing for the past 21 years.
“Sponsoring such an important club with history, that, moreover, next year will celebrate its 100th birthday, is truly exciting for us,” said Gianluca Pavanello, CEO of Macron. “The recent results gained by the team on the pitch and working together with a young and talented management on the club side will certainly allow us to create together very interesting projects regarding a special bespoke merchandising line dedicated to the fans.”
