Macron continues to expand in the German market, thus confirming its leadership in teamwear manufacturing. The Italian company has announced a new technical partnership with SV Sandhausen, the football club based in Baden-Württemberg, currently playing in Bundesliga 2. More than 100 year old, SV Sandhausen was, in fact, founded on August 1, 1916. The team plays their home games at the Hardtwaldstadion, and the year 2012 marked their historical promotion to the 2. Fußball-Bundesliga.
The six-year agreement between Macron and the German black & white will take off with the next 2021/22 game season, to last until summer 2027. Macron is expected to provide technical wear to the first team also in the junior division. Macron and SV Sandhausen are already working together to develop the game kits, as well as lines of clothing and merchandising that will express identity, sense of belonging and team spirit, combined with unique and exclusive design and high quality. The Macron Hero on the shirts of the German club will express all this.
