MFA to organise Futsal Tournament, Futsal Club Officials Meet and Referee Training!

The Mizoram Football Association Futsal Committee will kickoff its season with several Futsal Tournaments from July 19 at the AR Lammual.

It will also set up a meeting for Officials of its registered Futsal Clubs as well as a futsal referee clinic.

MFA League Club Tournament

This tournament will be for the 16 MFA Futsal League clubs.

Champions – Rs 15,000 + trophy
Runners Up – Rs 8,000
Semi Finalist – Rs 3,000

Division-I Tournament

51 Futsal Clubs have registered themselves for Division I under the MFA for the upcoming season. The 51 clubs will compete in the first Division-I Tournament for the season.

Champions – Rs 10,000 + trophy
Runners Up – Rs 5,000
Semi Finalist – Rs 2,000

Veteran Open Tournament

A Futsal tournament for player above 40 years of age will also be played. The veteran tournament will be an open entry tournament. Non-affiliated clubs are eligible for entry as well.

Players born on and before 1978 will be eligible for participation. Adhaar Card and Voters ID will be mandatory for validation, birth certificate will not be accepted.

Champion – Rs 8,000 + trophy
Runners Up – Rs 4,000

Entry Fee:
The entry fee for League Club, Division-I and Veteran Open is set at Rs. 500 each. Entry for the tournaments will be open between July 2 – 12 at MFA Office, City Park.


Registered Futsal Clubs under the MFA are required to be represented by two club officials on July 14 at AR Lammual. The meet will start from 12 PM.


A Futsal Referee Exam & Trainning will take place on July 14 11 AM at AR Lammual for candidates with interest in becoming an MFA Futsal Referee . Eligibility for the programme is open.


The MFA entertains application for organising Futsal Tournamnents under its recognition from any individual or organisation. The application should be addressed to the MFA Futsal Committee Secretary, with Tournament Recognition Fee set at Rs. 1,000.

MFA recognised Futsal Tournaments are to be conducted under FIFA Futsal Law, and officiated by MFA Referees.
