Mizoram Premier League: Zo United FC grab 3 points against Ramhlun North FC!

mpl-zo-united-fc-ramhlun-north-fcLower half strugglers Zo United FC grabbed three valuable points in the Mizoram Premier League – Season 5 against newly promoted Ramhlun North FC with a solitary goal win at the Lammual Stadium in Aizawl.

Both teams in desperate need for three points began going at each other right from the start. And they both threatened to score in the first half with only some fine goalkeeping and defending maintaining the scoreline.

Zo United then controlled the game and duly got their goal on the 19th minute through Lalnunsanga, who was out for quite a few months with a fractured leg.

I-Day Football finalists Ramhlun North FC looked for the equaliser but could not see their efforts on goal find the back of the net.

Zo United came out deserving winners, but Ramhlun North FC will rue their chances as it seemed lady luck had abandoned them.

Zo United captain Malsawma Chhangte was duly given Man of the Match award for marshalling his defence without fault.

Zo United are on six points from six games, Ramhlun North FC moved down into seventh spot with four points from five games.
