The first matches of the Mizoram Football Association Women’s League were played today at the AR Lammual with Chanmari Women FC and G&SA ITI Veng earning deserved victories.
The league will be contested by five teams – Chanmari Women FC, Maubawk Women FC, G&SA ITI Veng, Siaha DFA and Vakiria FC. Each team will face each other once and then the top four teams will battle in the knockout phase.
The league fixture will commence tomorrow at 12:30pm between Siaha DFA and Vakiria FC while Chanmari Women FC and G&SA ITI Veng will battle at 2:30pm.
