Mohammedan Sporting aim to conquer The City of Nizams, face Hyderabad FC Reserves!

Mohammedan Sporting Club will look to record their fourth straight win in the ongoing 2019/20 Second Division League when they face Hyderabad FC Reserves at the GMC Balayogi Athletic Stadium in Gachibowli, Hyderbad on Wednesday, kick-off 3:30pm.

The Black Panthers landed in the City of Nizams faced with a challenge of keeping up the momentum in the league. Leading the Group B log with a convincing run of three wins in a row coming to this fixture against Hyderabad FC Reserves.

“Winning is always great and it is understandable that it gives the players a different confidence. But we don’t want our players to be relaxed and our aim is to keep improving with every single game,” said Mohammedan Sporting technical director Dipendu Biswas.

“We are not getting ahead of ourselves. I am taking each game as it comes. We need to keep concentrated and focused on the task at hand, and make sure that we play the next game in the best way possible,” he added.

The Black Panthers are enjoying a good run in all competitions, with six matches won in a row. “I don’t look at that,”Biswas refuses to be drawn into the record books, “our focus is on the now and the preparation for the match against Hyderabad.”

“We are here to do business,” comments Biswas about tomorrow’s encounter. “We don’t check too much on what other teams are doing, we are solely focused on our own game plan. We are looking forward to a good encounter, Hyderabad won’t allow us a walk in the park in their own backyard.”

“The facilities are fine and are conducive to play our game of football,” commented Biswas, while also taking into consideration the hotel and related logistics.

“Things are good in training. We are rectifying shortcomings and the players are responding well to our tactical philosophy. Usually you find players looking tense before an important game, but I am happy to see that they all look at ease and in good spirit. Hopefully, we can put on another good performance,” he concluded.
