Kolkata giants Mohun Bagan made a spectacular signing in defender Lalramchullova from their archrivals East Bengal Club.
24 year old Mizoram-born Lalramchullova played for Armed Veng, Kulikawn FC and Luangmual FC at youth level before joining then Mizoram Premier League side Aizawl FC.
Lalramchullova won the 2016/17 I-League with Aizawl FC and then moved to Kolkata with numerous of his team mates and head coach Khalid Jamil. After two seasons with East Bengal, Lalramchullova now moves to their archrivals Mohun Bagan.
Lalramchullova couldn’t agree a contract extension with East Bengal and after a strong season he was in demand with numerous Indian Super League and I-League teams, but he in the end signed for Mohun Bagan.
What makes Lalramchullova such a useful player is that he can play on both wings and he is another reinforcement for new Mariners head coach Kibu Vicuna.
