Mohun Bagan sign midfielder Ansumana Kromah & striker Kamo Stephane Bayi!

Kolkata giants Mohun Bagan AC have made two more foreign signings in Liberian attacking midfielder Ansumana Kromah and striker Kamo Stephane Bayi from the Ivory Coast ahead of the Calcutta Football League.

These double signings come after the confirmation of a deal with Nigerian defender Eze Kingsley Obumneme to complete Mohun Bagan’s foreign recruitment for their local league campaign.

25 year old Monrovia-born Kromah had an impressive campaign with Churchill Brothers in the last I-League, scoring six goals in 13 matches after signing late for the Red Machines.

Kromah has experience of playing in Kolkata having played for Peerless SC in the 2016 Calcutta Football League.

21 year old Kamo Stephane Bayi had started his youth career at home in Liberia over Nigeria he landed in Kolkata last year to play for George Telegraph SC in the Calcutta Football League. Thereafter he joined Salgaocar FC, where he impressed with goals and helped the Greens to lift the Goa Professional League title.

This got Aizawl FC and their coach Khalid Jamil interested, so after the east and west, Kamo went to the Northeast and there he was a key member of the I-League winning squad of Aizawl FC.

Mohun Bagan will go into the Calcutta Football League with Eze Kingsley Obumneme, Ansumana Kromah and Kamo Stephane Bayi as their foreign signings and if the players convince the management, then they will see their contracts extended for the I-League season for which Mohun Bagan hope to see the return of their star winger Sony Norde.
