MPL-7: Mizoram Police FC score five against Ramhlun North FC!

Mizoram Police FC earned their much needed three points against Ramhlun North FC with a vintage display as they gave their opponents a drubbing in a 5-1 victory.

The Police team shifted focus after having unwanted attention on their backline because of recent results as their frontline put up a vibrant attacking display.

F. Lalrinpuia and Lalbiakhlua struck in the space of 6 minutes after Lalfakawma came very close to opening the score early on.

Ramhlun North FC’s Waheed Adekunle responded with an effort that hit the cross bar while Jessy Vanlalmuana almost made the Police defence pay for their lapse in concentration.

Mizoram Police struck early again in the second half through F. Lalrinpuia before adding the next two through Lalramtharmawia and Lalfakzuala in clinical fashion.

Ramhlun North FC did pull one back through forward Waheed late on but that only proved to be a consolation as Mizoram Police FC romped to a deserved victory.
