MPL-7: Ramhlun North FC earn their first three points!

Ramhlun North FC earned their first victory in MPL-7 as they beat Bethlehem Vengthlang FC 2-1 at the AR Lammual on Wednesday evening.

Goals from Lalnunmawia and Lalliansanga on either side of half-time were enough to seal victory for RNFC as they look to climb up the league table.

And it was a deserved victory as they were the better team for 90 minutes, with Lalremruata and Lalmawizuala forcing saves from the goalkeeper early on. H. Lalnunzira’s long range strike also hit the bar as they looked the more likely team to take the lead.

And they struck right before halftime when Lalnunmawia was released by Lalremruata inside the box who finished in a clinical fashion.

The onslaught continued in the second half as Laldingngheta, Waheed Adekunle and Lalliansanga all had chances for Ramhlun North FC.

The found their second on the 75th minute when Laldingngheta set up Lalliansanga to net a perfect finish.

Bethlehem Vengthlang FC pulled one back three minutes later when K. Lalnunzama was penalised inside the box which resulted in a penalty. Substitute H. Lalhlimpuia sealed his spot kick but the goal could not spark a comeback for BVT FC.
