Mumbai City FC trash Kerala Blasters 6-1 in historic ISL win!

Mumbai City FC scored a historic 6-1 Indian Super League win over Kerala Blasters at the Mumbai Football Arena on Sunday evening.

Mumbai City FC had the perfect start when a double strike by Modou Sougou in the 12th and 15th minute gave them an early 2-0 lead

But the Kerala Blasters reduced the deficit in the 27th minute through Seiminlen Doungel, but Hero of the Match Modou Sougou scored his teams third only three minutes later.

Former Mumbai City FC midfielder Zakeer Mundampara was send off just before half-time to reduce the Kerala Blasters to 10 men. The 3-1 Mumbai City FC lead stood at the break.

Mumbai City FC sealed the win with two brilliant long range goals from Rafael Bastos and Matias Mirabaje before Modou Sougou scored his fourth goal on the night for a memorable 6-1 win.

Both the teams are now off for the mid-season break for the 2019 AFC Asian Cup and would return to action in 2019.
