#ToTheFans – this one is for you!
This is the hashtag accompanying the presentation of the new special limited edition kit that Erreà Sport has created for Norwich City which the English club, newly promoted to the Premier League, expressly wanted to dedicate to all its supporters.
The shirt was conceived with the idea of taking the fans out onto the pitch, on the players’ chests, while they are still unable to attend matches in the stadium. A sign of affection and gratitude, following a socially-distanced season, designed to celebrate the strong bond between players and fans.
The kit, which comes in the classic team colours of yellow and green, as well as an elegant, bold black version, features a collage of sublimation printed images representing the support of the fans and bears the words “welcome to Norwich a fine city”.
The new kit will be worn by the first team for a single match, i.e. the last home game of the season which Norwich City will play at Carrow Road on May 1 against Reading FC.
Presentation of the kit was launched with a special promo video in which Pukki and his teammates look back on the team’s 2020/21 successes and underline how much they have missed their fans and their warmth.
Finally, it’s important to emphasise that part of the proceeds from sales will go to support various crowdfunding initiatives including the “Atmosphere Generation” group that will take care of further improving the experience at Carrow Road for when fans are allowed back in the stadium.
A wonderful project based on the desire to find an innovative way of showing how important fans are, without whom football would not be the same, and to pay them a sincere tribute for their essential and irreplaceable support.
