Oceania Football Confederation announces partnership with Hudl!

Oceania Football Confederation has confirmed its partnership with Hudl who will provide a suite of analysis tools to enhance football performance and development through video and data.

Hudl is used by more than 180,000 global sports teams from grassroots to professional level to enhance performance analysis and player recruitment.

The partnership’s vision is to build capacity for all 11 Member Associations, while achieving OFC’s strategic football development goals, including entry into FIFA World Cups.

OFC Head of Education and High Performance Owain Prosser said Hudl would benefit the development of teams, players and administrators across the region.

“After recently meeting with the Member Association Technical Directors to introduce them to Hudl, we were thrilled with the level of enthusiasm and understanding about the positive impact this can have in their country,” Prosser said.

“For national teams, it can be used to analyse upcoming opponents and measure team performances in training and games, while coaches and referees have the opportunity to watch video of their delivery and critically reflect for personal improvement.”

“We will provide the technology and relevant support to capture, share and analyse video. Hudl’s Pro Suite of analysis tools is designed to seamlessly connect and create streamlined workflows for teams to focus on the moments that matter.”

Hudl Account Manager Simon Mead said their focus was to help the Member Associations achieve their potential by creating a flexible analysis framework that is easy and saves coaches’ time.

“Hudl is excited to partner with the OFC and help the Member Associations achieve their potential,” Mead said.

“The issue of limited contact time with football players and administrators due to COVID-19 is more prominent than ever, but the connectivity and collaboration tools Hudl provides will help break those barriers.”

“Hudl products will empower the Member Associations with the technology to enhance their understanding of performance and recruitment of players.”

The staggered framework will be implemented in a three-stage process for both OFC and our Member Associations, with stage one and two from 2020-2023 and stage three from 2023 onwards.
