Ozone FC Bengaluru sign Trinidad&Tobago striker Cornell Glen!

Ozone FC BengaluruOzone FC Bengaluru has completed the acquisition of prolific Trinidad&Tobago striker Cornell Glen boosting their attack with quality and experience.

The experienced striker had scored 11 goals in 16 matches for the 2016 Federation Cup champions Mohun Bagan last season and was the joint second highest goalscorer in 2016 I-League. Cornell Glen has played 69 matches scoring 23 goals for the Trinidad and Tobago national team. This includes appearances at the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany.

Cornell Glen has had an impressive career so far having played in the MLS, Trinidad and Tobago, I–League and ISL. He has been one of the best foreigners playing on Indian soil with appearances for Shillong Lajong FC, NorthEast United FC and Mohun Bagan AC.

After having signed on the dotted line, Cornell Glen said, “I am happy and look forward to this new challenge. I will do my best to contribute in the team’s success in any way I can and repay the faith shown in me by the team management.”

Ozone FC Bengaluru’s Mohamed Rafik added, “Cornell’s striking record in India is very well known. At the same time, he has many characteristics both on and off the pitch which match the culture we are trying to establish at Ozone FC Bengaluru. Therefore, he was a perfect match for us at our club and thank Libero Sports who facilitated the transfer.”
