Raphael Augusto leaves Bengaluru FC due to personal reasons!

Former Indian Super League champions Bengaluru FC and their Brazilian playmaker Raphael Augusto have parted ways just weeks before the start of ISL-7 due to unnamed personal seasons.

On Saturday morning, Bengaluru FC announced in an official statement, “Bengaluru FC and Raphael Augusto have mutually agreed to terminate the Brazilian’s contract with the club, owing to personal reasons. We wish Rapha and his family the best through this phase. #ThankYouRapha.”

29 year old Rio de Janeiro-born Raphael Augusto Santos had joined Bengaluru FC ahead of the last season and made 10 appearances for the Blues.

Before that Raphael Augusto had spend four seasons with Chennaiyin FC, where he had won two Indian Super League titles in 2015 and 2017/18 seasons.
