Real Madrid & Electronic Arts renew their partnership agreement!

Real Madrid and Electronic Arts have renewed their partnership for the next few years, continuing to provide innovation and exceptional entertainment to all EA SPORTS FIFA fans. This partnership has taken place both on and off the pitch with several Real Madrid players, previously featured on FIFA’s front covers, such as coach Zinedine Zidane, Eden Hazard, Roberto Carlos and Karim Benzema. In addition, Real Madrid continues to be among the most chosen clubs to play for in the history of FIFA.

“Strategic partnerships like this one with Real Madrid are crucial to our vision of growing the love of sport and, in this case, football around the world. Real Madrid is one of the most iconic and successful clubs in the world and we look forward to delivering the most authentic, innovative and interactive Real Madrid FIFA experience for fans in the years to come,” said Nick Wlodyka, VP General Manager of EA SPORTS FIFA.

Emilio Butragueño, Director of Institutional Relations at Real Madrid, said: “This renewal allows us to extend Real Madrid’s reach around the world through the success of the FIFA franchise. We have a shared vision of delivering a unique experience and this partnership will allow us to offer innovative ways to entertain existing fans and attract new ones.”

VOLTA FOOTBALL

The partnership has come to life on the virtual pitch where adidas and EA SPORTS FIFA launched Real Madrid’s fourth kit to celebrate the new VOLTA FOOTBALL mode in FIFA 20. This kit, now in its third year, is the most popular among fans on the FIFA Ultimate TeamTM (FUT), based on the total audience of the matches. EA SPORTS FIFA 20 for console and PC is the most played game in the history of the franchise and has reached a growth in the audience for its contents of 260% over the previous year.
