In the 2017 ISL draft, Rupert Nongrum was picked by then champions ATK but he like the club didn’t have the best of seasons despite making 13 appearances.
Rupert Nongrum then returned to the Northeast to sign for NorthEast United FC and he spend the last two seasons with the Highlanders before now moving back to the I-League.
25 year old Budge Budge-born Abinash Ruidas played for Mohun Bagan and Bhowanipore FC in his youth before making his senior debut for East Bengal Club. Abinash spend the ISL-3 on loan with Atletico de Kolkata.
Under controversial circumstances Abinash Ruidas left East Bengal for Mumbai City FC, but after only a season he returned to Kolkata to play for Mohun Bagan. Last season he spend with TRAU FC before now moving to RG Punjab FC.
