Six Tata Football Academy boys are shortlisted for India U-19 selection trials!

The Tata Football Academy (TFA) participated in two friendly matches against the U-19 Indian Arrows team on March 12 and 13. By displaying the passion towards the game, boys from the Tata Football Academy proved their talent and worth. And their performance caught the eyes of Indian Arrows head coach Floyd Pinto and his assistant Mahesh Gawli.

It has been later decided and announced that six of the players from Tata Football Academy (TFA) were shortlisted for the selection trials, which is to be held at Bhubaneshwar from March 22 to 27. The selected players will also be taking part in the upcoming U-19 AFC Cup 2019.

Following are the list of the players short listed for the selection trials:

Gaurab – Midfielder
Ravi Bahadur Rana- Midfielder
Khangembam Samarjit Singh – Midfielder
Lalramdinsanga Ralte – Midfielder
Manas Protim Gogoi – Defender
Sandip Mandi – Defender

Out of the six colts, Ravi Bahadur Rana had already delivered a successful stint while representing the India U-16 team.

Mukul Chaudhari, Chief Sports Excellence Centers said, “Congratulations to all the boys who have been selected for the U19 team! It reflects the work that goes at the Tata Football Academy and our commitment towards contributing to the National team. We wish the boys and team the best for their endeavours at the Asia U-19 Championship.”
