Speakers for FICCI GOAL 2018 – India Football conference in New Delhi announced!

The fifth edition of the FICCI GOAL 2018 – Convention on Business of Football will be held on Tuesday, January 23 at the FICCI Federation House on Tansen Marg in New Delhi.

The initiative was established by Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and All India Football Federation (AIFF) in 2013 to support the development of the Indian football industry and promote strategic dialogue around the game. During the summit various issues and policy development related to Football like Effective Implementation of Policy on National & State Level, Football as business & Post U-17 World Cup impact will be discussed.

FICCI GOAL 2018 is the biggest convention on the business of football hosted in India and brings together hundreds of key influencers from the global and Indian football industries for one day of strategic dialogue around this beautiful game. During the summit various issues and policy development will be discuss.

Col. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Sports & Youth Affairs Minister of India will give the vision address in the evening while Rahul Bhatnagar, Secretary-Sports, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports will give Key note address during the inaugural session.

Other dignitaries who will be addressing the gathering at GOAL 2018 are Kushal Das, General Secretary, AIFF; Deepak Jacob, President & General Counsel – STAR India & Chairman, FICCI Sports Committee; Bhaichung Bhutia, Former Captain, Indian Football Team; Javier Ceppi, Tournament Director, FIFA U-17 World Cup 2017; and Richard Hood, Head of Player Development, AIFF.

Other speakers would be Siddhartha Upadhyay, General Secretary, STAIRS; Vivek Sethia, CEO, India on Track & Arsenal Soccer Schools India; Nikhil Naz, Consulting Editor – Sports, NDTV; Dalima Chhibber, Indian Women’s Football Team; Sameer Mehta, Country Head, Soccer International; and Sukhvinder Singh, CEO, Vedanta Football Project.
