Sporting Goa face FC Bardez in their final 2016 Goa Pro League match!

Sporting Clube de Goa take on FC Bardez in their last 2016 Goa Pro League game on Saturday. Sporting Goa having already secured the second spot with 42 points from 19 matches and they will be looking to sign off things in style.

Speaking to the media Sporting Goa head coach Mateus Costa said, “The boys have been playing well, we want to finish the league with a win.”

He further added, “Our boys have played some high-quality football and am happy the way we have played most of the times. A few silly draws cost us the title otherwise we were good throughout.”

Costa also added, “Staying unbeaten for the larger part of the league was a good achievement, it’s not easy to stay undefeated for so long in such a competitive league.”

Speaking about the opponents Costa mentioned, “They are a well drilled unit and have a really good coach. We can expect a good match tomorrow.”

Costa will have most of the players fit and available for the pick on Saturday. Speaking about the players Costa said, “We had a good training session on Friday, most of the players are fit we will take a call later in the day.”
