Swiss Super League side Lausanne-Sport yesterday announced the signing of Enzo Zidane, the son of legendary France midfielder and current Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane.
The 22-year-old midfielder joins Lausanne-Sport from Spanish LaLiga side Deportivo Alaves, whom he only had joined last summer but only made four appearances across all competitions over the first half of the season.
The former Real Madrid ‘B’ player will hope to get more playing time at Lausanne-Sport to establish himself as a professional footballer, who has huge shoes to fulfil as the eldest son of Zinedine Zidane and with three younger brothers in Luca Zidane (19), Theo Zidane (15) and Elyaz Zidane (12), all playing for the youth teams of LaLiga giants Real Madrid.
