Valencia-based club Levante U.D., currently playing in the Spanish LaLiga, and Macron, technical sponsor of ‘Los Granotes’ (the “frogs” in Valencian Spanish dialect), have presented the new shirts that the team will wear in the upcoming 2020/21 season.
The shirts Home and Away celebrate the club’s traditional social colours. The ‘Third’ pays homage to the shades of the seawater in Valencia.
The new “Home” shirt maintains the traditional azul-grana colours with a central garnet band placed between two blue navy bands. The shirt has a crew neck and raglan sleeves. The backneck is personalized with the club colors and the logo “UN PASADO PARA HONRAR, UN FUTURO POR CONQUISTAR”. (A paste to honor, a future to conquer). An internal silicon tape runs along the bottom of the shirt and features the words Levante! En las barras azulgranas de tu clásico jersey framed by two little frogs, the club mascottes.
The “Away” version is characterized by vertical black and white stripes in the front and a three button polo neck. The backneck is personalized, and this shirt as well features an internal tape reciting one of the team’s mottos: Levante! En las barras azulgranas de tu clásico jersey (Levante! On the blue and scarlet stripes of your iconic shirt).
Finally, the dominant colour of the “Third” shirt is the aqua green, the colour of the sea. The V neck and the sleeves edges have a garnet and blue navy knit trim. The front of the shirt has a jacquard pattern featuring a web of tone on tone horizontal lines repeated all over.
All the game kits have a slim fit cut and feature side and back inserts in micromesh that guarantee the lightness and breathability of the garments.
