Tim Cahill visited the Jamshedpur FC Football School at Loyola School where he interacted with the students and their parents and also took part in their training drills.
Tim spoke about the importance of football schools and grassroots. The striker said, “I love kids! I love coaching them. It’s very important to have grassroots and football schools like these. For a kid, it’s very important to start early, eat the right things and train well.”
He continued, “It’s great to see that the club is taking these incentives and creating this ecosystem for the development of football around the city”.
Mukul Chowdhari, Jamshedpur FC CEO, was delighted to see the school kids so enthusiastic about Tim’s visit. He said, “We at Jamshedpur FC are really proud to have partnered with 5 schools around the city, including Loyola School for the development of the game. Our plan is to open more such schools across the city and give the kids the opportunity to interact with Jamshedpur FC players.”
Mr. Chowdhari added, “It was great to see the kids and their parents interacting with Tim and vice versa at the Loyola School. We intend to do more such events in our other schools as well and give the children and their parents a chance to meet their heroes!”
