Kolkata giants East Bengal Club are set to welcome back former head coach Trevor James Morgan for the upcoming Federation Cup with the Englishman expected in Kolkata in the coming days.
East Bengal football secretary Santosh (Babu) Bhattacharya said at a press conference on Wednesday, “Morgan will join the side later this week but will only take over ahead of the Federation Cup.”
The club once again failed to live up to expectations this season and under Biswajit Bhattacharya they failed to push for winning the elusive I-League title, which forced the coach to resign. Now Morgan returns for a second stint with East Bengal Club, which is at the moment until the end of the current season with the club set to sit down with Morgan in the summer to decide on the 2016/17 season.
