The burgundy and black of 1.FC Nürnberg returns for the 2019/20 season, as ‘Der Club’ unveil their brand-new home kit by UMBRO.
This season, ‘Der Club’ are looking to make an instant impact in 2.Bundesliga and return to the top flight, but stylish, bold and brave in all of their endeavours, the red of FCN is a true constant in German football at any level. The kit for 2019/20 offers a contemporary variation on this theme, with a sleek burgundy shirt design that incorporates the black of the city’s Eagle motif into a block-panel hem and across the entirety of the sleeves.
The collar too is tipped in black and cut tight to the neck for a contemporary look off-pitch, or a comfortable, athletic fit in-game. Ergonomic shoulder seems decorated with the ‘shattered-diamonds’ design from UMBRO’s latest ready-to-wear collections, provide a final, forward-thinking touch, while the bespoke back-neck sign-off is an understated nod to the universal pride shared amongst fans, followers and staff of ‘Der Club’.
Completing the kit are black shorts and socks finished with understated burgundy paneling. The shorts feature internal drawcords and an elasticated waistband, while the socks are designed with a cotton footbed and ‘cool-zone’ technology on the instep, ‘CLUB’ lettering on the calf, and the famous double-diamonds of UMBRO on the shins.
