Following UMBRO’s announcement of a new five-year deal with ‘Der Club’ earlier this year, UMBRO have had plenty of fans asking when they’d see the first fruits of this new partnership. Well, the wait is over, as UMBRI has revealed the new 2016/17 1.FC Nürnberg home kit.
In a classic Nürnberg red with white and black trim, the new shirt has a part rib contrast v-neck collar, while the main body is constructed with a bespoke diamond fabrication. Mesh insert panels on the underarm aid breathability and movement.
On the back neck label of the shirt are the coordinates for 1.FC Nürnberg’s home stadium, alongside a graphic take on the club’s motto, ‘Die Legende Lebt’ – the legend is alive.
2.Bundesliga side Nürnberg and UMBRO have a great history together, with the club winning the German top flight in 1968 whilst wearing the double diamond. Here’s hoping that they find similar success in this stylish new shirt.
