The Verimi identity and trust platform is now a partner of German Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart for at least one year. Verimi offers a universal digital sign-in service that allows users to easily transfer their data, such as contact and credentials, to other online services – without having to reenter the data each time. In the future, users will only need to remember one username and password and can then log in barrier-free to many online services conveniently and securely. They always have control over how their personal information is used.
VfB Stuttgart will integrate Verimi’s universal login solution into the club’s digital services. Jochen Röttgermann, VfB Board Member for Marketing and Sales, said, “We are very pleased to have found Verimi, a well-known German start-up in the technology industry, as a new partner. With this step, we also make it clear that the responsible handling of personal data of our members and fans is important to us. In addition, the partnership underlines that we as a traditional club are also interesting for young and innovative companies.”
The agreement also includes a logo presence and giveaway advertising at home matches in the Mercedes-Benz Arena to increase awareness of the Verimi brand. Dr. Jeannette von Ratibor, Managing Director Marketing and Sales of Verimi, explains, “We are happy to be a club partner of VfB Stuttgart. VfB has great appeal in the region. From now on we want to offer the numerous members and fans safe and comfortable logins on the website, in the online shop and in the app of their home club.”
