The recipient of the 2019 Shan-e-Mohammedan award Victor Amalraj has arrived in Kolkata earlier this Friday morning.
The Shan-e-Mohammedan is the Lifetime Achievement Award of Mohammedan Sporting Club, which is awarded annually to respect and laud indispensable contribution of football players to the club.
“It’s an incredible feeling. I thank Mohammedan Sorting Club for what they have done in making this possible. I am happy to spend 6 years in Mohammedan Sporting Club and was able to contribute in a way worthy of this honour. I wish this award will serve as an inspiration to the future generation to do their best for the club.” Victor Amalraj said.
Mr. Amalraj will be conferred with the Shan-E-Mohammedan award tomorrow, June 1 at Club Ground during it’s annual Dawat-e-Iftar.
Mr. Amalraj’s elder sibling lt. John Victor was also conferred with the Shan-e-Mohammedan award in 2012.
