World Football Forum 2017 to feature Indian Football session!

The 2017 edition of the World Football Forum is set to feature an Indian Football session, which will be moderated by me. The WFF 2017 is being held from May 18 to 21 in the Chinese city of Changsha in Hunan province.

As the organisers say, India is the ‘New Geography spotlight’ at the conference which is set to feature interesting topics from around the world of football.

India, set to host the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup later this year, continues its rapid rise in the world football community. At the WFF 2017 we will hear from the leaders who are shaping the sport in South Asia. The session is set to be moderated by Indian football expert Arunava Chaudhuri and would include Subrata Dutta (Senior Vice-President, All India Football Federation); Sunando Dhar (CEO, I-League); and Baljit Rihal (CEO, Inventive Sports)

There is a lot to discuss in this interesting panel about what all is happening in Indian football besides the U-17 World Cup, as in the future of Indian club football as the Indian Super League and I-League merger is currently pushed back, growth of youth football in India and much more.
