The Mohammedan Sporting colts found the equaliser in the 59th minute through substitute Md. Giasuddin Sheikh after SAI-Guwahati took an early 7th minute lead through Raikut Shisha Buam at the Nagoa Sports Ground in Goa.
After the draw, Mohammedan Sporting remain in second position with 4 points from two games. Meanwhile, SAI – Guwahati who are also on 4 points, leading the group standings courtesy a better goal average.
Mohammedan Sporting now take on local side Salgaocar FC at the same venue on Saturday, April 23.
