3rd AFC Internship Programme commences!

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) welcomed the third batch of interns under the AFC Internship Programme on Tuesday, May 2.

The four candidates representing the Chinese Football Association (CFA), Mongolian Football Federation (MFF), Oman Football Association (OFA), and the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF), embarked on their learning journeys in the Member Associations Division, Technical Division, and the Competitions and Football Events Division (CFED).

During the course of the internship, the candidates will undergo an intensive training period where they will gain hands-on experience from some of the most renowned experts in the industry.

Through this knowledge transfer initiative, the AFC intends to strengthen the capabilities of its Member Associations (MAs) and Regional Associations (RAs) by equipping the participants, who are the future leaders of Asian football, with the best practices of football governance and administration, day-to-day operations and technological advancements.

On the completion of the programme, the interns are expected to share their newly acquired experience and knowledge with their associations and assist them in further developing football on the Continent at all levels by recommending the implementation of necessary policies.

The AFC Football Management Certificate and AFC Football Management Diploma graduates with distinctions will also be part of this programme.
