21 year old Bandel (Hooghly) born Abhash Thapa has come through the Mohun Bagan youth system before playing for Royal Wahingdoh FC, Bhowanipore FC and Real Kashmir FC.
It was last season at Real Kashmir FC that left-back Abhash Thapa had his breakthrough season with the Snow Leopards. His good performances earned him a transfer to ISL newcomers Hyderabad FC, but with no playing time, Abhash Thapa now moves to the red and gold in Kolkata.
