AFC decides to make qualifier dates for 2022 AFC Women’s Asian Cup in India flexible!

In preparation for the 2022 AFC Women’s Asian Cup in India, the AFC Executive Committee also decided to provide greater flexibility in finalising the dates for the Qualifiers, which is currently scheduled for September 13 to 25, 2021, taking into consideration the challenges that may arise from the availability of hosts, team travel arrangements, quarantine and medical measures imposed by several nations.

Therefore, the AFC will now work with the relevant host Member Associations to finalise the competition dates to complete the Qualifiers.

The 2022 AFC Women’s Asian Cup proper is supposed to be held in India from January 20 to February 6, 2022; but due to the pandemic this date could also be changed in the future.

AFC Women’s Asian Cup India 2022 Qualifiers

Group A: Chinese Taipei (H), Bahrain, Turkmenistan, Laos.
Group B: Vietnam, Tajikistan (H), Maldives, Afghanistan.
Group C: North Korea, Singapore, Iraq, Indonesia (H).
Group D: Myanmar (H), United Arab Emirates, Guam, Lebanon.
Group E: South Korea, Uzbekistan (H), Mongolia.
Group F: Philippines, Hong Kong, Nepal (H).
Group G: Jordan, Iran, Bangladesh (H).
Group H: Thailand, Palestine, Malaysia.
