After India vs Oman match blackout, AIFF & Eurosport issue joint statement!

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) and their broadcasting partner Eurosport for the India vs Oman international friendly on Thursday, March 25 came out with an official statement today after yesterday’s match was not broadcast on the channel.

The statement read as the following

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) had worked in close liaison with the Oman Football Association to secure the rights to broadcast the FIFA friendly between India and Oman (Match) on March 25, 2021 on Eurosport India. However, due to a technical glitch, we were unable to broadcast the Match (sic). We deeply regret this event. We want to assure the fans and our stakeholders that Eurosport is working tirelessly to deliver an outstanding viewing experience for the upcoming India vs. UAE match to the best of our effort on March 29, 2021.

The fans who were looking forward to seeing the Indian national team in action again on television after over a year without being able to attend the match in Dubai due to the ongoing pandemic.

The hope of the fans is that on Monday, March 29, India’s game against the United Arab Emirates would be broadcast without any glitches.
