Algeria hosts second regional CAF Club Licensing Workshop 2024!

Following a successful kick off to the CAF Club Licencing Regional Workshop 2024 in Mauritania, Algeria is playing host to the second leg of the ongoing workshop aimed at reaching all 54 of CAF’s Member Associations.

The four-day workshop will see 12 French-speaking nations gathered at the north African country for the vital gathering geared at aiding Member Associations with CAF’s Club Licencing Regulations and how they can benefit the respective Member Associations.

The CAF Club Licensing Regional Workshops will be conducted over four nations with the recent conclusion in Mauritania, now Algeria as well as Ethiopia and Ghana over the next few weeks.

Speaking at the official opening on Tuesday morning, Nadir Bouzenad, Secretary General of FAF said: ”It is an honour for the Algerian Football Federation to host this regional workshop, with the participation of our sister federations which are represented here. Allow me to salute the initiative by CAF who have worked tirelessly over recent years to develop football in Africa. Club Licensing is a fundamental element in ensuring the transparency, competitiveness and sustainability of our football. As Secretary General of the Algerian Football Federation, I am convinced that this workshop will be a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas, share best practices and strengthen our collective capabilities. Together, we can work towards the development of our sport on the African continent”, said Bouzenad.
