Both teams were matched up evenly early on in the first period with neither controlling possession for extended spells in Rajiv Gandhi Stadium.
Electric Veng FC struck first however, right before halftime when F. Lalchhanchhuaha was on hand to to finish from a set piece.
FC Bethlehem were able to strike back in significant manner in the second half as goals from Lalbiakdika and Lalrintluanga gave them a two goal cushion after JH Remlala had equalised eight minutes into the restart.
But to Electric Veng FC’s credit, they reaped the rewards of their indomitable fight as they managed two late goals from Rampianmawia and Jonathan Lalrawngbawla.
