The 23 year old Spanish-Brazilian centre-back has a long career and experience. In addition to LaLiga, Gabriel has played in the Premier League, UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League.
He began his professional career in his native country, specifically at Vitoria, a club where he would reach the first team. In 2013, the defender came to Europe to sign for Villarreal, an entity where he spent a year and a half before joining Arsenal. In the Premier League, Paulista played two and a half seasons and later returned to Spain, to Valencia, where he played for six and a half seasons.
