Yesterday, Bayern Munich head coach Julian Nagelsmann missed his sides impressive 4-0 win at Benfica in the UEFA Champions League due to flu like symptoms, today it was confirmed that he has contracted COVID-19.

FC Bayern Munich in a statement wrote

Despite being fully vaccinated, Julian Nagelsmann, 34, head coach of FC Bayern Munich, has tested positive for COVID-19. He is returning to Munich separately from the team by air ambulance and will self-isolate at home.

This means that Nagelsmann is likely miss his teams weekend Bundesliga encounter at his former club 1899 Hoffenheim.
